Every single fucking image is spectacular.   And her freckles are absolutely gorgeous.  I can’t stop scrolling through the entire series and marveling.  The photography is stunning.  She‘s stunning.  Enjoy.

Íconos de una era

Coco Rocha by Tesh for Vogue Mexico September 2010

Coco’s been my favorite model for a while now (ever since she Irish danced down the JPG runway!).  And this proves it.  She’s on the cover of Vogue Mexico‘s 50th anniversary issue and looks absolutely gorgeous in the editorial.  I mean would you just look at the feature shot??? Flawless.  She’s playful and charismatic in every shoot, delivering more than just a pretty face and pose.  Not to mention, she’s a huge advocate for healthy body image (and being healthy in general).  Can you believe that in this industry (which is changing thanks to Marc Jacobs and others) considers her a “curvy” model (she’s a size 4)?  Ridiculous.  In any case, she’s lovely.

A Bit of Liverpool

Abbey Clancy by Alasdair McLellan for Love Magazine #4 F/W 2010

Is it jumping on the bandwagon for me to say that I love what Love Magazine has been doing?  Katie Grand just keep doing your thing.  And this is glamour glamour glamour.  Of a different era.  It’s hard to get everything well coordinated for era pieces.  But there have been some major throwbacks lately.  But onto the ed.  This is poofy hair and raccoon eyes done right (did you here that Snookie and Taylor Momsen??).  I actually really love this bold eye with the heavy brow.  It brings edginess to the otherwise very glamorous styling.

Olivia, Hanna, Mikaela and Malin by Andreas Öhlund for NK Stil

Love the finger waves.  It’s very old school glamour.  So is the heavy handed makeup.  Vampy.  Interesting response to the minimalist trend as of late.

Christina Kruse by Paul Wetherell for Twin #2

As of late, I’d say that this is my absolutely favorite shoot.  And that’s not being said lightly.  There have some pretty epic ones.  Every shot is unique and every pose is unique.  There’s so many poses that I love from this editorial that I almost couldn’t figure out which one to feature.  I love the subtle cadet blue streaks in her hair as well.  Just everything about this shoot is wonderful; all of it melds together effortlessly.  I cannot fully express my love for this editorial.

Suzie Bird by Chloe Crespi for Harper’s Bazaar Spain September 2010

Stunning.  I have never heard of the model or photographer, but this is a beautiful shoot.  I like the creative settings and gilted styling.  It’s all very glamourous and exotic with creative lensing and intense eyes.  I absolutely adore those feathered lashes.

A Natural Love Affair

Heidi Mount by Lachlan Bailey for Vogue Nippon September 2010

Absolutely gorgeous.  The beauty for this shoot is so romantic, natural, and perfect for fall.  Heidi is perfection in dishevelment.  And here’s another favorite photographer: Lachlan Bailey.  His eye for photography is excellent, and his aesthetic is pleasing.

Liv for Love

Liv Tyler by Willy Vanderperre for Love #4 F/W 2010

There’s a balletic grace about Liv.  Not to mention a classic old school glamour about her.  Willy is one of my favorite photographers (I know I know. I have too many as it is, but they’re all so talented!).  He has a romantic aesthetic that I really appreciate.  Liv is sensual and glorious in this editorial.

Tosca by Ruben Vega

Tosca by Ruben Vega in Michael Kors for Telva Magazine

Love the different take on Michael Kors’ clothes.  Michael Kors has a classic all American style about his clothes.  This is a rougher, grittier take on it all.  And I love it.   I’m all for grittier takes on the classics.  Lovely.

Iekeliene Stange by Peter Gehrke for Cover Magazine August 2010

As Bradley James would say, “Your cheekbones are kicking right off on this shot, mate.” (Aside: God I love BBC’s Merlin :D).  Iekeliene has some spectacular cheekbones.  There’s an intensity about her that I like; also, gotta love the tiny gap between her front teeth.  I like gaps; they make a face unique and stop a model from looking too perfect.  I like how the styling’s tailored menswear, but she wears wonderfully haphazardly.  A look must become one’s own.  And haphazard wearing of tailored clothes reinvents the concept.  Gotta love creativity.
