Summer: Harder Better Faster Stronger

One of the hottest editorials I’ve seen in a while.  I absolutely love all of it.  It is sleek, sexy, and strong. The models are beautiful and powerful, showing off the beauty of the human body wonderfully.  Totally rocking the bodysuits there.  The make up is simple: all sunkissed skin and flowing locks.  The variety of the shoots is pleasant without startling and the posing is not boring. Also it brings in a beach feel in the middle of December/January.  It’s a nice change and makes me long for summer.  Overall, it is a well done editorial.  Enjoy.

Update

Oh blog.  How I have sadly neglected you.  Why does this always happen?  As soon as I get a break, I blog a whole lot less.  Must be those procrastinating skills are work where I suddenly feel an urge to blog right before an upcoming exam *looks innocent*  I guess to be fair I have been rather busy doing absolutely nothing.  I read a lot, watched a ton of movies, shopped a bit, finally caved and joined twitter (@poeticrealist if anyone wants to follow), and went skiing. :D Yes, I one who is always cold, went on a mountain and skied.  It was both somewhat terrifying and totally awesome.  Something I would most definitely care to repeat.  But other than that, I really honestly have done nothing.  Perhaps wallowed a little over my grades and then realizes how much shorter my break is this year.  Anyway, I’ll be back with a better update soon seeing as I am tired from more skiing today actually.

Starry Mood

Well she’s been quite popular as of late.  Not that I mind since I love this particular Aussie girl. And for once she’s clothed (minor nipplage aside)!  I like the styling of this shoot and glamour dripping from every shot.  She’s just so cute.  The end. hahaha

Just Like a Woman

Looking vastly different from the other editorial I have of her, she is proving to be quite a chameleon on the rise.  More Lara than Lily this time, she demonstrates a va-va-va-voom type of seduction in this editorial with sultry eyes and pronounced pout.  I don’t think I like this one as much as the last one, but I am most definitely a fan.  I’m sure that we will continue to see more of her.

Behati Prinsloo

This is a decidedly very whimsical editorial.  It has a certain old world appeal to it and Behati takes it to a whole new level.  This is decidedly very different from her normal bubbly take.  The styling, faded aspect, and overall quality of the shoot denotes a romantic atmosphere and painting-like appearance.  I like it.

Abbey Lee Kershaw by Greg Kadel

Fantastic body on this girl.  However, she is a good model with her clothes on as well.  She’s beautiful and talented but I feel that they always strip her down, which doesn’t fully utilize her abilities.  She is more that a pretty face and spectacular body.

Blueprint

Catherine McNeil’s damn gorgeous.  Although it’s a pretty standard (and rather unvaried) editorial, I can’t help but look at it anyway just because she’s in it.  I have a previous smoking hot editorial of her in the archives.  Check it out here.

Vogue Italia Beauty

A beauty indeed!  She’s nearly unrecognizable in this editorial. Edgy as opposed to her normally sweet style.
