Georgia May Jagger by Kai Z Feng for Vogue Australia November 2010

Simplicity at its best.  I normally get on editors’ cases for always making irritating quips about Georgia May Jagger’s family history.   And for once, a publication just produces a pleasant simply studio shoot that doesn’t ring formulaic.  In fact, when I saw the cover, I thought it was for Vogue UK (aside from Vogue Paris, British Vogue certainly is my favorite Vogue).  Georgia’s cute and not trying too hard in this editorial, which is a major change from before.  More importantly, it’s not lifeless.  Many studio shoots end up too contrived–too awkwardly artificial.  This is short and while not spectacular, pleasant enough.
