And God Created Woman

Guinevere van Seenus by Javier Vallhonrat for Vogue UK September 2010

This is the softest I’ve seen Guinevere.  She tends to do the more morbid and icier shoots.  That sounds really strange.   In both the Numéro and AnOther shoot, she’s fiercely gorgeous, entirely ethereal, and a little creepy.  I love the softness that this shoot alludes.  And while fashion is very obsessed with this new womanly shape, this editorial is not strictly 50s silhouette shots that I’ve been getting from other editorials.  I like that it’s set in a broken down house.  Dilapidated romantics.  Also, Guinevere is really cute.  I never realized this from her other shoots.
