Iselin Steiro in Vogue Paris

I think that this is a case of  “the beauty in the ugly.”  Even if she’s covered in dirt and contorting her face, I’m still intrigued by it.   The intensity in her eyes is awesome and scares me just a little.  Not many models could pull this concept off.  This is less ugly and more “bring it on” fierceness.  Similar to Zac Posen’s liberal use of eyeliner on the models in his recent Fall 2010 show, there is a controlled messiness about it.  And sometimes, like in life, we just want to color outside the lines.
