Frida is the picture of charmingly old school glamour in this forties-inspired piece for Elle Sweden. I think that she looks absolutely darling here with her retro curls and glossy red lip. I love the return to ladylike dressing as there is something very polished about it, showcasing beautifully tailored lines and pretty feminine details. With these vivid color schemes, every looks creates quite an impact. And I love that Frida has a chance to smile in this. I am all for moody avant garde pieces and the coolness associated with fashion print work, but sometime’s a girl just wants to feel pretty and look happy while she’s at it. Moreover, I love how effortless this entire editorial feels. Frida exudes quirkiness and ease throughout, presenting a beam of sunshine in these cold winter months.
