Love the haute couture glamour to this editorial. There is luxury and drama to every shot with the black and white palette standing out amid the time-worn setting. I love the sort of melted luxury presented with the dusty crackled rooms and the elaborately wrought furniture as if this was once a place of great pride and opulence only to be forgotten in the passing of time. Moreover, the dripping candles coupled with the stark color palette of the pieces give a haunted feel to this editorial. And what lovely pieces were chosen! Each intricate and full of texture with all the extravagance of haute couture. This is exactly what I expect of a September issue. I want to be this excited about the upcoming season as I am reminded of the brilliance of the last.
