Love love love love the artistic vision of this editorial. Kate looks absolutely gorgeous. This is precisely why she’s such an icon. She has this tangible presence in all her work. This is the Kate that started a waif moment in fashion, becoming the most famous short model ever. She really is “The Girl of a Singular Beauty.”
Moreover, I love the light and shadow in this; they really showcase the planes of her face and body. Not to mention, they make for some fantastic silhouettes. The dramatic lighting really highlights her features with those feathery lashes taking point for me. Kate is very ethereal in this. Again, this makes me nostalgic for the modelling landscape of 2004-2006.
